Zaragoza is a province in the Autonomous Community of Aragon and covers an area of ca.17280 sq. km. Its population is around 1.3 million and in the capitol with the same name, resides approx. 55% of the inhabitants of the province.
Zaragoza Airport is located about 20 km from the capital and has daily flights to many cities across Europe.
Lots of important sights are to be found in Zaragoza, here are a few:
Museum of Fine Arts, Museo Pablo Gargallo, Palacios de los Condes de Morata, Colegio de Arquitectos, Palacio Aljaferiá and the Catedral de San Salvador, The churches of Santa Maria Magdelena, San Gil and San Pablo, all of which are Múdejar Monuments under the protection of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.
Zaragoza's football team are placed in the national premier division and Real Zaragoza has a long and glorious history with both national and international trophies.
