Ibiza is the third largest Balearic Island and is best known as the "Party Island". Although Ibiza lives up to the reputation of all night parties there is also a lot more to this Island. Ibiza offers a lot of tourist attractions and many golden beaches so you can escape and just relax.
Ibiza with an area of about 570 sq. km. has about 110.000 inhabitants. The highest point is called Atalaya at 476 m. above sea level.
The Airport of Ibiza is connected to most countries in Europe and there are also lots of Ferries to and from mainland Spain and the other Balearic Islands.
Tourist attractions and sights:
Es Vedra, the mystical rock of the west coast of Ibiza. Atlantis which only is accessible if a local will give you directions to this secret cove. Passeig de ses Fonts, located in San Antonio. And also the weekly marked that takes place every wednesday and saturday, known as the Hippy Market. Another great thing to do, if here, is taking the boat to nearby Formentera to visit a virgin island of unspoilt beaches and nature!
