Badajoz is the largest province in Spain covering 22.000 sq.km.
There are two provinces in the Extremadura autonomos community - one being the province of Badajoz.
It has its borders to Portugal, and the provinces of Sevilla, Huelva, Cáceres, Ciudad Real and Cordoba.
The Capital is also named Badajoz and it has about 140.000 inhabitants.
